Disney Candlelight Processional

THE FOLLOWING MUST BE COMPLETELY MEMORIZED BY 12/10/2017

WE WILL BE PERFORMING ON DECEMBER 27 AT 6:45 AND 8:15 
Only students who participated in the recording of the audition tape will be permitted to participate in Candlelight Processional.

Students are expected to wear the Disney uniform to the event. This includes black dress pants, black socks, black close-toed shoes, plain white T-shirt. Hair must be one solid, natural-looking color. No jewelry is permitted. Make-up must be modest and natural-looking. Disney will provide robes for the performance.

There WILL be a $185.00 fee required from each student to help pay for buses and hotels.

Students are expected to follow all WBHS rules and expectations, as well as rules set forth by Disney or the guest conductor.

Preparation Guidelines– PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!! There are some VERY important program notes from Disney about each piece.

Below are the audio recordings of each song.  There will be one set of full mix (all voice parts singing together) and then the audio recordings will be split by voice part.  On each individual voice part, you will still hear all voices.  YOUR voice part will be the loudest vocal track on the recording. You can hear JUST your part if you listen to the LEFT side only.

This year, select students from the West Boca Performing Arts Department have the opportunity to audition for the Disney Candlelight Processional. This annual event offers students the opportunity to perform sophisticated repertoire under a guest conductor with a 50-piece orchestra alongside a celebratory narrator.

AUDITION

Students who wish to participate in Disney’s candlelight processional must attend all information sessions, auditions, and rehearsals. Dates and times will be posted on the Drama/Chorus CHARMS calendar..  

Students must be willing and able to participate in video recording the audition tape to send to Disney. The taping date can be found on the drama/chorus CHARMS calendar.

Students must be present for the video recording to participate in the event.

Only students in good academic standing and who have paid their choir fee will be allowed to participate in the audition.

Performance dates will be released after selections have been made by Disney.

Students are expected to wear the Disney uniform to the event. This includes black dress pants, black socks, black close-toed shoes, plain white T-shirt. Hair must be one solid, natural-looking color. No jewelry is permitted. Make-up must be modest and natural-looking. Disney will provide robes for the performance.

The cost is usually $125.00 for two days in the park, hotel, and transportation.

Students are expected to follow all WBHS rules and expectations, as well as rules set forth by Disney or the guest conductor.

All students participating will receive two one-day, one-park tickets to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
